gap healthcare is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Registered Manager for a Mental Health Service in Southend On Sea, Essex. Our client is a dedicated care provider supporting individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs. Their focus is on delivering high-quality, person-centered care that promotes independence, well-being and recovery. 

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee service operations, ensuring high standards of mental health care, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team to provide tailored support that promotes recovery, independence and well-being for service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily service operations.

  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations.

  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans tailored to mental health needs.

  • Conduct risk assessments and safeguard service users.

  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.

  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and families.

  • Promote a therapeutic environment that supports recovery and emotional well-being.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Manager with experience in mental health and complex needs.

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.

  • Experience working with individuals with severe mental health conditions and complex behaviours.
