Working with individuals who have learning disabilities, you will support them to live the lives they want and promote independence and social inclusion. Of course, this will vary from person to person, but will ultimately always have the same objective &ndash; ensuring that you build a level of trust with the person whom you are supporting, whilst allowing them to have as many opportunities as possible available to them. It&rsquo;s a challenging role and you&rsquo;ll need patience, communication skills, and the ability to advocate for those in your care. But it&rsquo;s also extremely rewarding, and you&rsquo;ll be making a real difference to people&rsquo;s lives.&nbsp;
