Children’s Support Worker – Female Only Service (PE1 2HQ, Peterborough)
Pay Rates: £12.50 – £18.00 per hour
Flexible shifts available – Days | Nights | Sleep-ins

Are you a confident, caring, and transparent support worker with experience supporting children or young people?

gap healthcare is currently recruiting female Children’s Support Workers to support a 16-year-old young lady in a specialist care setting located in PE1 2HQ, Peterborough.

This is a female-only service, and we are looking for staff who can build strong, open, and trusting relationships. The young person does not have a learning disability, but values clear communication and confidence in those around her.

We have full-time, part-time, and bank opportunities available to suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build positive, respectful relationships to help the young person feel safe and supported
• Follow and adapt care plans to meet changing needs
• Encourage independence and support with life skills
• Assist with accessing the community, social activities, and daily routines
• Be a positive role model offering guidance and reassurance
• Help with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care if needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children or young people
• Confident and caring personality with strong communication skills
• Honest and supportive approach
• Basic IT skills
