Job description
Job Title: In-House Care Trainer
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated In-House Care Trainer to join our team in Spalding. This role is integral to ensuring the ongoing development and training of our staff, maintaining the highest standards of care, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning sessions, workshops, and tutorials that meet the curriculum requirements and individual learner needs. Provide ongoing feedback and monitor progress to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Conduct and analyse training needs to identify the skills and knowledge gaps across the team, ensuring all staff are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
- Induction and Refresher Training: Develop and deliver induction and specialist training programmes for new and existing staff, including managing e-learning systems in collaboration with the HR Lead. Ensure training matrices are up to date.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with auditing care plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct mock inspections to ensure inspection readiness and assist in the completion of reports for authorities such as CQC.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of Level 3 teaching learning and assessment qualification (e.g., AET or PTLLS), or the willingness to work towards.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
- Full driving licence.
- Level 4 IQA or equivalent qualification.
- First Aid at Work Certificate.
- IOSH Health and Safety Qualification.
- Extensive experience in the Health and Social Care sector.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate for maintaining digital training resources.
