Job Title: Registered Manager - Supported Living

Salary: £40,100 per annum

Location: Ipswich

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (On-call rota following settling-in period)

Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Supported Living services. You will be responsible for managing 8 Service users with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs across two locations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Supported Living service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to all customers.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of personalized care plans for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, maintaining the Outstanding rating from the last inspection and working towards continuous improvement in response to recent feedback.
  • Manage and support a dedicated team of staff, providing leadership, supervision, and training to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate and oversee the on-call rota after the settling-in period.
  • Act as the registered manager with CQC, ensuring the service meets regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful culture among staff and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the holistic care and well-being of customers.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role within a supported living or care environment.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and best practices in supported living.
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, staff, and external partners.
