RMN Unit Manager

A great and exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced Unit Manager in Winsford, Cheshire supporting adults with enduring mental health conditions.
My client is well established within the care sector with over 30 care homes covering Mental Health, Nursing, Learning Difficulties, Rehabilitation, Challenging behaviours, and residential care. As the Unit Manager, you will oversee the care of 29 residents whilst maintaining and further improving the high standards and values that are embedded throughout their service values and delivery.
- Salary: £21.00 per hour
- Hours: 36-40 hours
- Area: Winsford, Cheshire

Responsibilities
- To oversee the care of every resident in your area, ensuring that CQC regulations and policies are adhered to at all time.
- To ensure the well-being of all residents, making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
- Support new Team Leaders and Care Staff in the completion of induction programs, training and competency assessment.
- Essential nursing tasks and duties including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation and management of chronic medical conditions.
- To provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which residents can feel secure and free from harm.
- Support management with staff development, 1-1s and supervisions.
- Ensuring that each residents care plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their changing needs.
Skills Required
- Previous experience as a Unit Manager or a similar senior role within the care industry
- Experience working within a mental health setting.
- An active UK PIN is required for this role.
- The position requires the candidate to be computer literate, good numeracy and literacy skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must have knowledge and experience of CQC Compliance
- Must be a commutable distance from Winsford, Cheshire.
