Registered Manager – Disabilities ABI and Neurological

A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for a Registered Manager – Disabilities, ABI and Neurological based in Manchester Greater Manchester for an established service supporting 5-7 service users. The service will provide support for adults with Acquired Brain Injuries and associated Mental Health conditions.

My client is well established and has achieved a good rating from the CQC in other services. They are looking for a Registered Manager – Disabilities and ABI to maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their values and service delivery.

Salary - £32,000 - £35,000

Hours – Monday – Friday 0900 – 1700 but will need to participate in the on-call rota

Area – Located in Manchester, Greater Manchester

Position - Permanent position  

Responsibilities – Registered Manager – Disabilities, ABI and Neurological

To manage all aspects of the home and to ensure that CQC regulations and policies are adhered to at all time.

To oversee the financial budgets and staffing for the home.

To ensure that the safety and dignity of service users is upheld at all times.

To oversee staff supervisions and staff development.

To enable service users to live as independently as possible.

To promote values and standards of the service provider.

Skills required – Registered Manager – Disabilities, ABI and Neurological

You will need to have previous experience as a Manager or a similar senior role within the care industry.
This role requires a minimum of an NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care qualification. 
Completed, working towards, or willing to achieve their NVQ/Diploma Level 5. 
The position requires the candidate to be computer literate, good numeracy and literacy skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and as well as being confident and reliable, they must have a strong desire to succeed.

Experienced in supporting service users that display challenging behaviour

Have a sound and working knowledge of Mental Health recovery models   

Must be a commutable distance from Manchester, Greater Manchester.
