My client is well established and have good solid CQC ratings. My client is looking for a focused, motivated and high achiever to further improve and maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their values and service delivery.
- Salary – Circa £180,000 per annum
- Hours – 40 hours per week plus on call requirements
- Area – Location is near to York, Yorkshire

Responsibilities – Medical Director
- Motivational and inspirational leadership for employees and teams to perform at their best in building and sustaining a high-performance culture. Act as a role model and ambassador for company values and leadership behaviours.
- Effective Employee Engagement and Development so that all employees understand the Vision and Strategy and their role in it and are actively encouraged, developed and motivated to deliver Outstanding Service to our Clients and have fulfilling careers within the company
- Effective and timely delivery of multi services in pursuit of effective commercial contractual, safety and risk management.
- Responsible for driving quality and business improvements
- Ensure that structures, processes, systems and procedures are co-ordinated, effective and efficient meeting business, commercial and clinical requirements to meet future business demands.
- Accountability for the clinical delivery and carry own case load.
- Leads and manages the Hospital Senior Management team (SMT) across all aspects of day to day business deliverables including monitoring performance in relation to quality performance indicators (QPIs) and performance manage sites where improvement is required.
- Lead in delivering excellent operational and clinical performance
Skills required – Medical Director
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
- Hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills essential.
- Can work well under pressure.
- Passionate about continuous improvement with a demonstrated track record in organisational change
- GMC registration and revalidation.
- The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
- Commuting distance form York, Yorkshire.
