A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for a Health and Social Care Trainer covering the South of the UK but with travel across the UK. You will be travelling around the UK delivering the required training to keep all care givers up to date with their mandatory training.

My client is well established and has achieved a good rating from the CQC and is looking for a Health and Social Care Trainer to deliver bespoke training and to further improve and maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their values and service delivery.

Salary - £30,000 pern annum plus £3,000 car allowance

Hours – Monday – Friday 0900 – 1700 but will need to travel to different areas to deliver training.

Area – Located South of the UK but with travel across the UK

Position - Permanent position  

Responsibilities – Health and Social Care Trainer

To manage and lead company wide inductions for new starters for the company

To monitor and track changes within the health care sector and training requirements as set out by the CQC

Deliver the core training requirements to persons delivering direct care to service users and clients such as Basic Life Support, Moving and Handling, Medication, DOLs etc.

Control and manage the delivery of training such as booking venues, facilitating training, arranging equipment and hospitality for the course’s and administration of the course’s

Take charge of the apprenticeship programs and working with providers and learners

Ensure that compliance of training is kept up to date within your region

Skills required – Health and Social Care Trainer

 

Have a clear understanding of the core training required by CQC and how to deliver the content

Have train the trainer qualification

Previous experience of delivering learning content within the health care sector

Understand the importance of training within the care sector and have previous experience within the sector

Great communication skills

Confidence to deliver training and in depth knowledge of health and social care

UK driving licence

  • The position requires the candidate to be computer literate, good numeracy and literacy skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
