Gap healthcare are currently supporting their client who are looking for a Resourcing Specialist to join their HR Team based in Greater London. Our client is offering a salary of up to £36,715 and ideally needs someone who is available to start early November.

This is a full-time permanent role (37.5 hours over 5 days)

The role will usually be required to work one day per week as a team either at South Wimbledon, Stockwell or Croydon and then a further day will be spent working from one of the clients services based on business needs.  Generally, the other three days can be completed remotely unless business needs mean you need to be working with colleagues face to face.

Key responsibilities
  • Optimise resource allocation and planning across the organisation by accurately assessing and managing business needs providing an end-to-end service which gives support across absence, vacancies, retention and temporary resources.
  •  Provide an end-to-end service which gives the organisation full resource planning support across absence, vacancies, retention, and temporary resources via a centralised approach.
  • Consult with own team and other parts of the organisation to determine resourcing needs.
  • Use relevant workforce planning data and knowing the right sourcing approaches and digital tools to tap into diverse and untapped candidate pools to meet current and future business needs.
  • Manage, train and develop our in-house zero hour workforce as well as recruitment agencies for ad hoc resource supply.
  • Advise, coach and support managers with all people management matters using a ‘business partnering’ approach, setting out options and risks for their consideration – maintain related systems and processes to ensure detailed analysis can be done.
  • Ensure up to date, robust and efficient systems, processes, policies and procedures are in place across all resourcing aspects to comply with UK statutory legislation requirements.
  • Ensure robust, efficient and customer friendly administration processes are in place to support managers and colleagues e.g., letter templates, policy guides.
  • Advise and support managers and colleagues as a key business partner to support their compliance and understanding of legislative requirements and good employment practice.
  • People and Culture workstream lead on people focused projects e.g. TUPE, Pay Review, Consultations.
  • Ensure our systems and processes enable managers to effectively manage their teams and easily access quality data – enabling a “self-service” model for all those managing people in the organisation to access.
  • Provide and manage related administration support ensuring all People and Culture related enquiries are responded to effectively and efficiently within the agreed service levels.
  • Assist with the design, development and ongoing review of the companies policies and procedures.
  • Attend all training, development and networking opportunities, internally and externally, as required.
  • Follow the companies’ policies, procedures and performance expectations.
  • Act in accordance with the values and purpose of the companies and, specifically, Companies code of conduct, equality and diversity and health and safety policies.
  • Carry out any other duties, which from time to time may be assigned but within the general purposes of the job description.
  • Supplier management of those providing related systems and resources to us.
  • Document, implement and improve resourcing processes, compiling data analysis reports and associated recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform system upgrades, as well as providing ongoing training and support to users.
  • Ongoing development and implementation of new processes and systems for efficient people management.
  • Perform detailed statistical analysis and draws conclusions on gathered data and running queries.
  • Ensure the efficient recording, management and secure storage of resourcing and overall adherence to Data Protection legislation.
  • Perform audits on related processes and documents and ensuring compliance to statutory legislation at all times.
  • Keep track of market advancements and trends via networking and other research.
