  • Develop personalized care plans for the child and ensure their needs are met through a child-centre approach.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for the child to thrive.
  • Liaise with external professionals, including social workers, therapists, and education providers.
  • Oversee staffing, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring the smooth running of the home.
  • Champion safeguarding and child protection, always ensuring the safety and well-being of the child.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Significant experience in managing a children's residential home, particularly in an EBD setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Ability to think creatively and implement solutions to support the child’s development.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience managing a solo placing home is an advantage.
  • Background in therapeutic care or specialised approaches for EBD children.
  • Previous experience in developing and leading a team within a similar setting.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for career progression and personal development in a growing organization.
  • Comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your professional skills.
  • Positive and supportive work culture where you can thrive.
  • The opportunity to work with a team who shares your passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
