gap healthcare is currently working with a care provider who is looking to recruit a Registered Manager for their brand new Children's home in Burnham on Crouch.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is positive, energetic and self-motivated with outstanding leadership skills, has a child-centred approach and who has a desire to make a difference in helping young people develop their independent skills to support their life's ambitions. This Residential Children's home supports Children and Young People aged 10-18 years with Challenging and Emotional Behavioural difficulties of mixed gender.

Main requirements for the Registered Manager:
  • 2 years experience of working in a Residential Children's Home
  • Working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and child protection laws.
  • 2 years experience in supervising and managing care staff as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or above

The employer is happy to negotiate the salary based on experience and will consider anyone with the relevant background.
