apply for a job online or in branch
Once you start work that doesn’t mean you never hear from gap healthcare again. Your account manager is always available if you need to have a chat about anything, and they are regularly onsite to carry out employee reviews.
providing your proof of identity
It’s a legal requirement that we see original copies of your identification and proof of right to work in the UK. This is so we can protect our workforce and our clients by following the correct hiring procedure. Don’t worry though, we will explain exactly what you need to show us when you book in to register with us.
interview
If we have a vacancy that is a good match for you, we will register your details and set up an interview with one of our consultants. The interview will help us get to know you and gives us a chance to make sure the role is right for you and meets your expectations.
pre-placement preparation
At this stage we set up your work contract and any necessary assessments. When you start your new job, our clients might request that you complete an assessment or attend an induction that gives you all the information you need to know about the site you will be working at. If there is any training needed in the first few days this will be set up for you. This can be slightly different depending on what company you are working for, but we will help you along the way.
start work
Once you’ve completed all the stages above you can start work! On your first day, either your account manager or a designated person onsite will be there to greet you and make sure you get to where you need to go. If you are in a temporary role your salary will go through to your bank account on a weekly basis.
